Ten years after the groundbreaking (2001) MILES: A Miles Davis Retrospective Exhibit at Missouri History Museum; the hyper-creative We Want Miles Installation made its debut at Musée de la Musique/ Cite de la Musique (Music Museum, City of Music) Paris, France. Viewers experienced an avant garde Miles Davis Experience that kept growing; and included Brazil and Montreal.

For Miles Davis’ 95th birthday and the Festival’s 20th anniversary, the Missouri History Society hosted a potent and stimulating podcast with the curators, Dr. Ben Cawthra and Vincent Bessières. Also, the project manager and designer Becki Hartke of Miles Davis Retrospective detailed her contributions. And Vince Wilburn, Jr. added family sentiments as drummer and nephew of Uncle Miles.
