For this Year-of-Miles, each month, we are featuring the famous Miles Davis talks on jazz history; and the development of future syntax innovations in new music and fine arts among domestic and global cultures collaborating, and in conversation with each other (even outer-space sounds).

Because Miles was forward-thinking, the Miles Davis Festival hopes to bring world peace through jazz.

Not only will we demonstrate this with an annual East St. Louis Metro festival, but by featuring multicultural segments of improvisation through workshops and online social media algorithms like Tik-Tok and Instagram Reels to attract younger, visionary audiences. We hope to express conversations and collaborations through jazz, visual art, fashion, literacy, and film.
